Sunny Day

We tend to feel a little under the weather when the weather isn’t really feeling great either. The lack of sun in the sky tends to impact our mood and bring us down a bit. It is very common and in the winter months of some places that get cold and receive less sunlight. This lack of joy in our attitudes is commonly known as seasonal depression. Seasonal depression is a disorder characterized by depression that reoccurs at the same time every year. Seasonal depression is most commonly associated with winter months due to cold and a lack of sun light.

So! What happens when the sun begins to peak through the clouds and warm up the earth as spring comes each time? Flowers start to bud, the sun begins to rise a little earlier each morning and set a little later each evening. The air becomes crisp and fresh, the world seems to be in a state of renewal.

When spring comes and the sun begins to stay in the sky longer and we are able to spend more time outside something fantastic happens. Our spirits are lifted by the presence of sunshine and fresh blooming flowers. With spring happening we know that summer is right around the corner! Summer brings times of excitement and new adventures!

As we venture into the warmer months we are able to escape the grasp of seasonal depression and enjoy the worlds excitement before we fight slipping into it again as the sun begins to set earlier going back into winter.
