Be a creator not a competitor.

Being creative is what I’ve always believed in even though I am into some very competitive industries like ecommerce and digital marketing. And creativity is what sets me apart. Since the day I’ve started my journey I’ve never looked any of my competitors over my shoulder like I have become friends with them. It doesn’t matter what niche/industry you’re in there is always a space to show your creativity which will let you lead the competition without even you knowing.

For example with ecommerce, I’ve never stolen someone else’s ad or any ad copy to sell products for myself. I always learned about doing it myself. With my agency, there are a lot of people out there running their agencies and I know most of them are just trying to steal clients from each other. Whereas I created my own outreach process and had unmatched results to show whoever was interested in my services and 9 out of 10 times they never even cared about comparing me with someone else so why should I.

This is the reason that I’ve been in a very peaceful position as of now because I don’t care about what my competitors are doing, I literally help them like literally help them if I know something that they don’t know about without expecting anything from them. I congratulate them when they are doing good in their life and support them when they are not (trust me you won’t hear a single negative review about me from anyone in the industry because I’ve only made friends).

Now many of you advertisers would be wondering that with digital marketing it’s all about the competition when it comes to buying ads on every platform. Like in Facebook we compete for bids, on google we compete for rankings, and same goes with other channels too. I agree yes but there are always creative workarounds in order to thrive on any channel, for example with Facebook instead of focussing on bids and targeting, try focusing once on your creatives. Create best graphics, write best copies, write compelling headlines, provide irresistible offers, have a great call to action and then come back to me if it doesn’t work. Believe it or not you won’t have to because Facebook first cares about its platform and its users and then its advertisers. If you are already creating good content for its users then there is no way Facebook won’t give you favourable results.

Not just in this field, in any field we always have an option to be creative instead of competing with everyone and that’s what sets apart these big giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple etc. cause they always creates a new demand in the market which opens up so many new doors of opportunities for everyone.

Try acting once on this perspective and thank me later.
