The East Versus West

The BRICS countries challenge the Western dominance of the U.S. dollar as the dominate currency for trade and commerce.

The BRICS have received (19) bids for entry into the BRICS alliance. Some of the bids come from Algeria,Egypt,Saudi Arabia,Iran,Argentina,United Arabia Emirates,Bahrain and Indonesia.

The next meeting of the BRICS alliance will be held June 2–3 in Capetown.

The possible increase of the BRICS group will only increase the power of the alliance and global power to determine the GDP power and influence.

The other factor is the BRICS movement to have their own currency back by Gold alone with trading in their own currencies between countries in the group.

The United States has too much dominance in the global affairs of the world trade and commerce is one of the reasons for the BRICS alliance.

The other factor is that sanctions (30%) of countries face some sort of sanctions from the U.S. and European Union, Japan and the U.K.
