I have been trying to find a credit reporting site that is actually free. No credit card required but even if the site says free it’s not. They always ask for a credit card.And I don’t have one.

I cant get a straight answer. I have been saving money and being very careful to pay all my bills on time since the discharge of my bankruptcy last year. We had 800 credit score when we filed but my husband and I were both laid off and couldnt afford our payments anymore. Since I included my house in the bankruptcy do I have to wait the three years required if it foreclosed or just two? Also when does that time start? I have heard it is from the time of bankruptcy discharge….but also heard it doesn’t start until the date the property is sold by the lender. My husband just went to get a payday loan, now we get payday loans all the time from money mart, but he went somewhere different today thats closer to where we live. Ok….Here it goes. I did a search on Miami Dade County Recorder site, everything that was included in the search were indeed correct except for one that I’m a little confused about. My name was listed with a Lis pendens with a mortgage company that I have nothing to do with. The plaintiff was Suntrust Mortgage, and the defendants were a longs list of names (my name wasn’t the first name) including mine. When I contacted the county recorder office they stated that I may need to come down and sign a non-identity affidavit. I also went as far as contacting the lawyer office that was listed on the documents, and I was told if I ever sued this person before because my name is attach to a judgement on her of some kind. To make a long story short, she provided me with the book & page number and then I was able to look that up, and I found out my insurance at the time (Statefarm) had sued this person. What I don’t understand is why would my name be listed as a defendant on their Lis Pendens. Does anyone have an idea? This is all so confusing.””
