My Gay Agenda

Merriam Webster defines agenda as a list or outline of things to be considered or an underlying often ideological plan or program.

There’s a lot of talk about the “gay agenda.” So, I thought I’d give everyone a little insight into my agenda.

Don’t tell anyone that I told you… they might revoke by brunch invitation.

I can’t forget the agenda items that are across the board in the LGBTQ+ community.

We aren’t trying to force any “agenda” on anyone. Tell me…when was the last time someone from the LGBTQ+ community knocked on your door with a pamphlet asking for a moment of your time? Or, showed up at a festival with signs and bullhorns condemning you to hell.

Go ahead… I’ll wait.

We’ve just gotten to a point where we don’t want to hide in the shadows. We want to be seen as who we are… normal people with normal feelings living normal lives. We want to be safe and secure. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Our agenda is to exist as our authentic selves.
