Now is the Time To Question Everything

Especially Your Religious and Spiritual Beliefs

These are some crazy times. People are amidst great change, and many are lost or confused. So many of us have been conditioned, even brainwashed to a certain extent, on many things. I get so many emails and comments from people seeking guidance because what they’ve believed in the past is no longer resonating with them.

I’ve been questioning my beliefs for over thirty years, and I’ll tell you, it takes courage and is very uncomfortable at times. We all naturally want to be accepted and at ease with ourselves as well as those around us. When you begin to wonder if you’ve been wrong about some things or if that feeling of uncertainty continues to poke at you, it’s aggravating and even threatening at times. I, at least, never had to contend with very many friends and family members disowning me or shutting me out as I reshaped my belief system, but a lot of people do.

I remember when I began to doubt Christianity, I was very worried that I would offend God. I didn’t want God to think I was ungrateful or doubted Him in any way, and I worried that if I questioned religious beliefs that have been accepted for thousands of years, God would be angry with me. I still questioned, and I’m happy to say I’m at peace now. I asked the Archangels to help me write an article to encourage and comfort people who are lost or doubtful right now, and their response follows.

Of course. It takes great courage to question lifelong beliefs, especially if the teachers of those beliefs are friends and family members who have good intentions. It is even harder if you know your questions will be met with fear or hostility. It is so much easier in many ways to just stifle your questions and go with the flow, so to speak. Some choose to question quietly and secretly, while others may become very vocal about questions and the new answers they find.
