You Are First Victorious In The Mind

Victory is achieved through self-mastery and self-mastery begins by communicating with the inner voice.

In order to become victorious in the external reality there is a process you must first go through internally. You must first define your objectives clearly and vividly, knowing exactly what you want. You must see the final destination in your mind without a doubt about its authenticity.

To have a clear mental image, you must engage all the senses and use your imagination to feel the nerves, the impulses and happiness. When you have captured this feeling entirely without being able to tell the difference between reality and imagination, you have now impressed the subconscious mind which will now begin to do its work to get you to your destination as long as you keep the image. Whatever may come your way, know that it is for your goal that you have created so vividly in your mind. You have created the victory in your mind and it is time for you to take action.

To take action you must be aligned with your mind, body and soul. You must be healthy in all three areas to attract the right ideas and opportunities. You cannot have any doubt and you will be followed by an inner voice that speaks in feelings. You will feel that this is what you have to do in order to reach your goal. It will be subtle but the healthier a person is in those three areas, the louder the inner voice will sound.

In order to hear your inner voice, you must combine creative visualisation with meditation as meditation is required for you to intensify your focus and gain calmness. You must learn to be still and quiet your human body, mind and all their activities. You will have to go to a place where you are no longer conscious of the human body. It will take around 30 minutes to an hour of complete stillness to feel this effect. Once you get to this moment during your meditation, the question you will have is “What is going on”. Get used to asking questions at this point as you are now in contact with your higher self. You are now speaking to your inner voice who may feel like a separate entity but it is actually you in a silent state. Once you are in direct contact with your inner voice, you will realise that this is where you create your reality. It takes work to get to this point in meditation which requires discipline and patience. It is here that we must concentrate on the desired vision until it has the feeling of reality. Once you have awakened from this deep meditation you will ask yourself “Where did I go” or “Where was I”. This is normal, as you have experienced something not many humans have.

If your goal is material success, you must focus your attention on a scenario you want to get to in your life. Once the focus is there, paint the picture as vividly as possible and remain in that scene until you have gathered up the courage to take action in solid reality knowing it is bound to take place. If your goal is spiritual success, you must empty your mind totally and know that answers come in a silent state. Whatever your goals are, you must get to a point in your meditation where it seems like you have lost consciousness of your mind and body. It is here where you paint a picture and it is here where you silence your being in order to receive answers. You will notice a sense of guidance when you start to meditate on a daily basis.

Assuming a state that contradicts the senses can be challenging for an undisciplined mind but if you use your imagination to experience and believe that you are already what you desire to be, you have the power to transform yourself and your surroundings in accordance with your beliefs.

Initially, I struggled to meditate for more than 8 minutes. However, with consistent daily practice, I was able to gradually improve and eventually find a sweet spot of 40–45 minutes where I could completely lose my sense of self and connect with my inner voice. This led me to reflect on my life and realise that I was lacking direction. Thus began my journey towards self mastery, a lifelong pursuit that requires directing one’s thoughts towards positivity and personal growth. Meditation felt like a superpower that attracted like-minded individuals and helpful resources to achieve my goals. By intentionally listening to my inner voice during meditation, I became more aware of my surroundings and focused on developing a calm and assertive demeanour for a better quality of life. I managed to form an image so clear in my mind’s eye, that it is now my destiny to be successful. I am preparing relentlessly for my goals and adversity is nothing compared to having complete faith in yourself. I am already victorious in my mind; therefore being victorious in reality is just a formality. It is final; success is inevitable.
