Instagrammable

Instagrammable. People take pictures more than they talk to each other. I walked into a newly opened cafe called Möge Tee. It smelled nothing like coffee like a regular cafe, but fruity like Jamba Juice. The first thing I saw was their interior. They had such cute decorations on a window saying “Where there is tea, there is hope,” along with artificial turf installations on some of the walls. That’s right. They sell teas and they are mostly bubble teas. They had so many menus that I just stood there for five minutes just staring. Cheese Foam was the word that stood out to me. I ordered a cheese foam strawberry tea with bubbles and found a seat to make myself comfortable. Simple white tables and chairs emphasized the pretty decorations.

“Number 110!” The plastic take-out cup was thicker than most other cafes’. I was a bit worried about sustainability but there was no time to think but take some good pictures for Instagram. Strawberry pink at the bottom and white foam on the top mixing like marble was so lovely. I understood why people were taking pictures when I became one of them. The taste was great obviously since it’s strawberry, but I realized that I’m not a huge fan of the cheese foam. It tasted like regular cream cheese but a little salty. Maybe it wasn’t a good collaboration with the strawberry. However, the boba tasted great. Very chewy and not too sweet. As I’m writing this, I wish to go back and try other menus as well.
