What is a good Teacher?

I work with teacher training and I was thinking about what it is to be a good teacher? Is there a teacher model to follow? Well, to answer that question we will all look for models of teachers with whom we learn. Looking for my models of learning, I conclude that the best teacher was the one who conquered me through the connection, the feeling, the passion in the theme he taught or a true gift in my learning.
There is no learning without connection. The student does not learn with whom he does not like. Every good teacher I had the pleasure of being a student was kind and sensitive to my doubts and questions. I imagine that other skills like good communication, charisma and technical knowledge are important. But nothing replaces love, as Paulo Freire said: “..we can not talk about education without love.”
