AI and The World

With so many digital apps and smart devices taking over our life, can you imagine how easy life is? Well this statement isn’t true, although Ai machines do the work we normally do in a fraction of time there’s so many things that come to mind.

My first thought is the animated movie called Wall- e. This animated movie is a wake up call we all need in our life. We have bots serving us food, working in health care especially during co- vid times. Some may say, we need this in the future.

Although the real question is, do we really? Will this results in a science fiction movie like the terminator, are we going to face a reality where it will be man vs machine? Such are questions one thinks of with the development of Ai, although not in full development yet to reach that point, we have high class AI robots like Sophia and Ameca which both fascinate with the clever ways they approach situations and think during conversations or interacting with humans.

So imagine this being our future, many people are against the development of Ai. They say it’s something out of a science fiction movie. My opinions vary, are they useful? YES, Are they dangerous? Maybe. With that in mind maybe we can have a sustainable high-tech future, or a digitized world. Where we won’t need to sacrifice human soldiers to fight in wars where we just create AI robots and machines.

We also use the same technology to make our satellites and rockets etc to explore the universe and in time we have made miraculous discoveries dating back to the birth of our universe.

So in conclusion is this the future we need? Will we ever come to such a point where we become helpless and depend on AI mobile apps to run everything, including our own life. Will this create a bleak future. I surely like my iPhone one click and I know my bus route, or any information that I need or presentations I have to make, I can arguably say AI is good and bad, depending how an individual uses it.
