And as before, the collective quality of these “new” films vastly overshadows that of the films released this past year.

Now, even if I don’t have “time” to watch more films, there always seems to be “time” to listen to music, whether at work or in the car or at home. The first three on the list below stem purely from my work on a feature-length screenplay, but the rest is a wide-ranging collection of the year’s greatest discoveries in music.
